Portsmouth More info His father was a soldier from Norfolk, a retired Quartermaster, mother from Chatham. Married Elizabeth Bazeley in 1897. Had served in the militia at Winchester. Commenced regular service in the Hampshire Regiment on 22 Oct 1886, discharged after 12 years colour service in the UK. Served in the Royal Garrison Regiment from 16 May 1901 to 15 Aug 1905. Enlisted as a Cook in the Royal Navy on 20 September 1905, discharged on 7 May 1925, Naval Continuous Service expired. He, his wife and their two children appear on the 1921 census, residing at: 50, Amelia Street, Landport. Died in Portsmouth in 1933.
