Portsmouth Grammar School
Founded in 1732 as a boys' school after a former Mayor of Portsmouth, William Smith, left his estate to Christ Church, Oxford with instructions to build a school in Portsmouth. It is the oldest school in the historic city of Portsmouth
Plymouth Naval Memorial
The memorial was designed by Sir Robert Lorimer and is situated on The Hoe which looks directly towards Plymouth Sound. There are 23,204 identified casualties listed of which 7,231 were sailors in World War One. The memorial was unveiled by HRH Prince George on 29th July 1924
