Plymouth Naval Memorial
The memorial was designed by Sir Robert Lorimer and is situated on The Hoe which looks directly towards Plymouth Sound. There are 23,204 identified casualties listed of which 7,231 were sailors in World War One. The memorial was unveiled by HRH Prince George on 29th July 1924

Son of Charles J and Elizabeth Barlow. (His father was Vice Admiral Charles Barlow, Superintendent of Devonport Dockyard.) Born in Paignton in the June Quarter of 1894. Died 31 May 1916 aged 21 at the Battle of Jutland.
