Served aboard the recommissioned cadet training ship HMS Cumberland from 1 February to 23 September 1919 and sailed to the Caribbean in May-June 1919. Briefly stationed aboard the recommissioned cadet training ship HMS Temeraire from 24 September to 5 October 1919. Subsequently deserted from HM Naval Base Portsmouth on 6 October 1919. Employed as a tugboat Mate and residing at 179 Coxford Road, Southampton as per the 29 September 1939 register. Died in May 1993 in Southampton.
