More info Charles John Masters emigrated to Australia and transferred to the Royal Australian Navy in 1925. He committed suicide in the Royal Naval House, Sydney, NSW, by swallowing cyanide. A note to his Commanding Officer in HMS ANZAC, showed him to be depressed after £21 was stolen from the canteen cash box, for which he was responsible.
