Enlistment 17/04/1905 Next of kin address England More info Frederick King took a year off his age to sign up & served from 17 Apr 1905 -16 Apr 1927, retiring as a Chief Stoker. He served in HMS Malaya from 28 Jan 1916 – 17 Sep 1920. His brother William served in HMS Canada. The Jutland medallion pictured remains in the Mitchell family. It was issued in 1916 as a fund raising initiative for Naval orphanages. Previous occupation: Bacon dryer. Joined RFR 17/4/1917. Died Q3/1976; date uncertain.
